I think someone with more technical background could probably work it into a good murder mystery or a book of espionage. With The Lion's Game I traveled all over the country for the locales. For Cathedral I went to Belfast, Ireland. For my next novel, which is set in contemporary Vietnam, I plan to go to Vietnam.
